I’m Hope and I Have a Home Now!

Hope the Kitty needs a new home
Hi, I’m Hope! Connecticut Humane Society

Everyone needs some Hope! Hope is a vocal girl who lets you know when she needs some love. Although a bit shy at first, she warms quickly to those who show her compassion. She does not like dogs, but would do well in a home with gentle children. She’s a sweet cat waiting for her forever home to come along! Hope is on a special diet to prevent urinary problems. If you think this special girl could be the cat for you, come meet her at the Westport branch of the Connecticut Humane Society at 455 Post Road East, Westport, CT or call 203-227-4137 for more information.

I’m Jeb and I Have a Home Now

Jeb the Jindo Dog needs a new home
Hi, I’m Jeb! Westport Animal Control

Jeb is a delightful little Jindo that can be found at Westport Animal Control. He is approximately one year old. He was found running with some new-found dog buddies in Winslow Park. As a typical intelligent Jindo, he probably decided that he would leap into a departing car in hopes of finding a new forever home. Besides their great beauty (or handsomeness in this case), the Jindos are valued for their intelligence, courage, loyalty and are treasured as fine companions.  We urge you to do some research about this interesting breed and if it sounds like a match to your lifestyle and home situation, please call soon (203-341-5076) to arrange to meet Jeb. He is a friendly and active fellow that does get along well with other dogs.  His intelligent and playful eyes will just wow you.

Hi, I’m Lucky! (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Westport Animal Control

Lab mix Lucky needs a new home
Westport Animal Control

This fine fellow—a male lab mix, approximately 2 years of age—has been anything but lucky. He was left tied to the door of a local shelter with a note to take care of their “great dog” Lucky. He has a crooked front leg (probably from a broken leg that was left untreated) that has resulted in a slight limp. “Lucky” for you he has forgiven all for the bumpy path that has landed him at Westport Animal Control. He loves everybody and is affectionate beyond words. And just look at those perky ears! He’s very playful and will be your best buddy. Please call Westport Animal Control at 203- 341-5076 to meet Lucky and give him that second chance he so deserves. One look into his big brown loving eyes and you are sure to lose your heart.

Taxi the dog needs a forever home
Hi, I’m Taxi! Connecticut Humane Society

She has won our hearts and is our Shelter Sweetheart. Don’t miss the chance to come see this incredible girl and see what unconditional love is all about. Taxi loves nothing more than to cuddle with whomever she meets and roll over for belly rubs. She is approximately 2 ½ years old, spayed, up-to-date on all her shots, and simply wonderful. Please come spend some time with her and she will become your favorite as well! You can meet her at the Connecticut Humane Society in Westport at 455 Post Road East. (203-227-4137)

I’m Tali and I Have a Forever Family

Tali the dog needs a new home
Hi, I’m Tali! Connecticut Humane Society

Tali is a very pretty girl with unique coloring. She comes from a loving home where she was taken care of well. Tali is a sweet and kindhearted girl. She can be nervous at first but certainly warms up quickly becoming quite playful. She is highly active with terrific energy yet gentle and quiet. She would best be placed with older children as she might knock the young one’s down! Come to meet Tali at the CT Humane Society in Westport!

Volunteer Comments on Tali:
“I look forward to playing with Tali every time I am at the shelter. Although she is a strong girl she is amazingly calm and affectionate. She never fails to reward you with hugs and kisses. She lets me push her around, rough house, and play catch yet always remains polite and kind. She also respects her toys and handles them gently. Tali is a dog that I can trust to be gentle with her toys. She is happy to leash walk and would do well with someone who needs a quiet dog. I’ve never heard her bark!”

I’m Gracie and I Have a New Family

Cocker spaniel Gracie needs a new home
Hi, I’m Gracie! Connecticut Humane Society

Gracie is a happy little cocker spaniel who gets along with most other dogs but prefers teenagers or adults. She more of a couch potato than a playtime pal but she can get active when she feels like it. Gracie would be an ideal companion for a relaxed adult home with cocker spaniel experience. Come to meet her at the CT Humane Society in Westport!

I’m Sam and I Have a Forever Home

Siamese cat Sam needs a new home
Hi, I’m Sam! Connecticut Humane Society

Sam is a sweet boy who gets along well with people but should be an only pet. He’s a big boy who loves to lounge around and meow commands to those those play with him. His job, before he came to CHS, was to be the pillow to a 2 year old girl! While here, his temperament has changed a bit and we now recommend Sam to a home with older children. If you love Siamese and want to meet this handsome man, come on down to the Westport branch of the CT Humane Society.
