Yeezy. Westport Animal Control

Yeezy is being fostered in the home of a Westport Animal Shelter Advocates volunteer.  He was recently rescued from a CT animal control facility.  He was an owner surrender as a result of a college graduate moving back with the family with an unwanted dog in tow.  Yeezy is approximately 2 years of age, and we believe him to an English bulldog-mastiff mix.  He is a very sweet boy that gets along well with other dogs of all sizes.  He has not been tested with cats.  Yeezy enjoys sleeping, eating and getting/giving affection.  We are in love. To complete an application for Yeezy, please visit www.westportwasa.org and click on Adopt to complete an online application.  For additional information about Yeezy, please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call (203)557-0361.

Dina. Westport Animal Control

Dina has been adopted.  She is friendly and affectionate with people of all ages.  She walks well on a leash and is housebroken.  Dina is an intelligent and active dog and needs someone that will keep her exercised and stimulated.  She gets along well with other dogs but in the home does tend to be alpha female and should probably be the only female dog in the house.  Dina is spayed and up to date on her vet care.  To complete an application for Dina, please visit www.westportwasa.org and click on Adopt to apply on line.  For additional information about her, please send an email to Westport Animal Shelter Advocates (WASA) at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Polo and Angel have been adopted!  They are lovable, affectionate, walk well on a leash and housebroken.  They love to be held and are good with people of all ages.

Cash. Westport Animal Control

Cash (short for Johnny Cash) comes to Westport Animal Shelter Advocates (WASA) foster program via a Westport connection now living in Texas. This handsome boy, approximately 12 to 15 months of age, was originally found as a stray in Texas.  He is a very sweet fellow who gets along well with other dogs and people of all ages.  He is completely housebroken and is learning his basic commands, he came to us walking very well on a leash.  Cash is neutered and up-to-date on his vet care.  Cash needs to go to a home where he will not be left for prolonged periods of time and with someone willing to work on his separation issues.  He is a wonderful boy that is certainly worth the extra effort to make him a part of your family.  For additional information about Cash, please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call 203-557-0361

Albert. Westport Animal Control

Albert is a 1 1/2-year-old shihtzu being fostered by a WASA volunteer.  He is a delightful little fellow who is terrific with other dogs – both small and large.  He is well trained and housebroken.  He loves to be where the action is!  We feel Albert would do best in a home with older (12 and above) children.  Albert has been neutered and brought up-to-date on his vet care courtesy of WASA and will be groomed soon!  We do know, however, that he loves being brushed.  To apply for Albert, please visit www.westportwasa.org to complete an application online or send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for additional information about Albert.

Darcey. Westport Animal Control

Darcey is a new foster of WASA.  She is a rottie-doberman mix that is just five-months-old (born 5/12/13) and comes to us after her family decided that it was too costly – and required too much time – to have a pup in the house.  She is a delightful dog that is very affectionate, smart and gets along well with other dogs – but still quite a puppy.  She is in the process of being brought up to date on her vet care but look for her soon around town as she makes the WASA foster circuit.  For additional information about Darcey, please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).  To complete an adoption application, please visit www.westportwasa.org.

Jasper. Westport Animal Control

Jasper is a handsome and very friendly bully breed mix that recently arrived at Westport Animal Control (Elaine Road, Westport, CT 203-341-5076) after being found wandering around the Sherwood Island Connector.  He is very well trained – knows stay, sit, down, paw – maybe more? – and does appear to get along with other dogs.  He has soft golden fur and loves to be petted.  His star attribute, next to his super personality, are his stunning green eyes.  Please call soon to meet Jasper – Jazz for short.

Jager. Westpoprt Animal Control

Jager is a very handsome pure German Shepherd that is being fostered by a WASA volunteer.  He is 19 months old, neutered, up-to-date on his vet care and very well trained.  Jager is wonderful with other dogs, people of all ages and cats as well.  Jager comes to WASA as his former owner has been over-crating him due to her full and busy schedule which, of course, is not fair to this special boy.  For additional information about Jager, and to receive an adoption application, please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call (203)557-0361.
