Cynthia. Westport Animal Control

Cynthia is a darling 2-year-old Chihuahua mix (possibly daschund) being fostered by a WASA volunteer .  She was headed for a CT animal control facility due to the fact that her owner decided that she was ready to be rid of her since she had provided enough puppies (3 litters).  Cynthia is ready for some R & R, and she wants to do that sitting in someone’s lap.  She truly is a dear and gentle dog that is quiet and very mellow.  She gets along well with other dogs unless they try to move her from a lap.  While a tad underweight, she is very healthy.  She is gobbling up the good food provided for her at the home of her new foster and is enjoying being cuddled and pampered.  Cynthia is now spayed and up-to-date on her vet care.  For additional information about Cynthia and an adoption application, please send an email to WASA at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Ginger. Westport Animal Control

Ginger and Nutmeg are two adorable 8-week-old female orange kittens in need of their forever homes.  They are getting LOTS of attention at the vet facility where they are staying until a home is found for them but certainly would like to move in soon with a family.  For additional information and an adoption application for these two cuddly kittens, please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Sadie. Westport Animal Control

Roxie. Westport Animal Control

Roxie is a very friendly, cuddly and affectionate 3-year-old English bulldog.  WASA is assisting in finding her a new home as she has become combative with a small dog in her current home.  While it does appear she gets along with big dogs, she should probably be the only dog in the home.  Roxie is housebroken, walks well on a leash and has displayed no food or toy aggression.  She absolutely adores people and wants to be the center of your universe.  For additional information about Roxie and to receive an adoption application, please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Sean. Westport Animal Control

Sean has been adopted!  Sean is a delightful and affectionate 3 ½-year-old silky terrier that was owner surrendered to foster care.  He is having a swell time cruising around Westport – Winslow Park, Sweet Frog, downtown – and is enjoying not being crated 10 to 12 hours a day.  We are looking for a home without small children and pet parents willing to give him boundaries and lots of attention.  He bonds quickly and wants to be near you as much as possible.  He is okay with other small dogs but tends to be afraid of big dogs.  Sean is neutered and up-to-date on his vet care.  For additional information about Sean, please call 203-557-0361 or send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).  An adoption application and home visit are part of the adoption process.

Caroline. Westport Animal Control

Caroline is a darling petite bully breed mix that loves attention.  While at first we thought she was a pup because of her size and puppy-like wiggles, it was discovered upon her vet exam that she is approximately 2-years-old and may have had several litters of pups.
