I’m Tiki, and I Was Adopted

Puggle Tiki needs a home
Hi, I’m Tiki! (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Connecticut Humane Society

Tiki is an adorable and friendly 1½-year-old altered male pug-beagle (aka puggle) that can be found at the CT Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203) 227-4137). We’re thinking he was purchased as a wee pup and his appeal wore off when he could no longer fit inside a purse and needed some real exercise and play time. Hopefully you won’t care that he is a tad bigger than purse-size and are willing to give this very playful and sweet dog a real home. Tiki is quite fond of other dogs and would probably be thrilled to be with another canine pal. Stop by soon to meet Tiki the terrific.

I’m Owen, and I Have a New Family

Bulldog mix Owen needs a home
Hi, I’m Owen! (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Connecticut Humane Society

Okay, this special boy may not be a pedigree poodle or one of those purse-size carry-around types of dogs. He is, however, a great dog. He has a happy and friendly personality with a tail that doesn’t quit. It circles around and around as you talk to him and pet him. He is a 7-year-old altered male bulldog mix that can be found at the CT Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203)227-4137). He’s a bit of a celebrity in the Westport-area rescue world and was a former resident at Westport Animal Control. You will love him the minute you meet him. Owen gets along well with other dogs but isn’t too crazy about cats. Stop by soon to meet this fine fellow. It’s a guarantee that he will put a smile on your face and find a place in your heart.

He is a 3½-year-old altered male boxer-spaniel mix that can be found at the CT Humane Society. Jeff and his sister Mutt-ilda (also available for adoption) were pretty much left on their own and never received the exercise or training that they deserved. I’m Luna and I’ve Been Adopted

German shepherd Luna needs a new home
Hi, I’m Luna! (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Connecticut Humane Society

Lovely Luna is a 4-year-old spayed female German shepherd that can be found at the CT Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203)227-4137). Luna has quickly won the hearts of both the volunteers and staff with her gentle and loving nature.  Although she loves people of all ages, she absolutely adores children. Luna is very well trained and walks well on a leash. Although Luna gets along well with cats, she would do best in a home with no other dogs. Luna became despondent and unhappy upon the death of her canine companion and intolerant of other dogs. Luna is looking for a new loving home and a new owner who is very familiar with German Shepherds.
