Harry is a 5-month-old altered male corgi mix puppy, and he is indeed a puppy with a capital P. Harry can be found at the CT Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203) 227-4137). He’s playful, loving and lots of fun. He was surrendered because “he was too much.” Well, hello, he’s a puppy. You can’t just stick him in the back yard and hope that he will entertain himself for hours on end. Miss Kitty wants to rule your roost. She is a gorgeous 2-year-old spayed female DLH that can be found at the CT Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203) 227-4137). Miss Kitty is a bit on the independent side but does grant you petting time and loves to be admired. She just insisted that we take her picture as we were going through the cat area, and of course we obliged. Life won’t be boring with Miss Kitty around. Well, isn’t this a heart-melting little face? This is Boss, a 1-year-old altered male beagle that can be found at the CT Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203) 227-4137). Boss is a sweet and shy little fellow that needs someone patient and loving to give him lots of attention as he adjusts to his life up north (he’s from the south). That won’t be a huge task at all because he is just adorable. You won’t know how you survived without him.

Hi, I’m Kelsey! (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Connecticut Humane Society

Kelsey is a 6-year-old spayed female Weimaraner/Great Dane/Lab mix that can be found at the CT Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203)227-4137). She was given the boot from her home because a baby was to arrive shortly in her household. We’re not sure what went into the thought process behind that decision but that family’s loss can be your unbelievable and quite fortunate gain. Kelsey is very affectionate and loving. She is extremely well trained and it’s like walking a feather when you have her on a leash. Kelsey does quite well with other dogs too. She is truly a wonderful dog. Kelsey just can’t figure out what she did wrong to end up in a cage—nor can we. Please stop by soon to meet the new love of your life. She will make a devoted companion and a tremendous family addition.

She comes to the CHS upon the death of her owner. She is a loving 15-year-old spayed female DSH. She is quite healthy and could definitely pass for a much younger cat.
