Riko has been Adopted

Riko
Riko. Westport Animal Control

Riko the big red dog has a new home!  He was a guest at Westport Animal Control (Elaine Road, Westport, CT, 203-341-5076).  Chained for 10 months to a cellar door in Fairfield, Fairfield Animal Control, Westport Animal Control and WASA came together to break him free from his chains.  He has forgiven all in regard to his former life and those that chained him.  He is affectionate, playful and has tested well with other dogs.  We adore our big red dog – and you will too.  He was been neutered and brought up to date on his vet care courtesy of WASA.  For more photos and videos of Riko, please visit WASA’s facebook at www.facebook.com/westportwasa.

Jackson was Adopted

Jackson
Jackson. Little Black Dog Rescue

Jackson has been adopted.  He is calm and sweet and his foster mom loves him. She was so impressed by his manners when arriving at their home. Jackson is one year old, about 35 lbs and was adopted from the same shelter he was just dumped at (most likely because he isn’t a puppy anymore). He literally comes up to hug you and sits and gives his paw. Jackson will make the right family very happy!  Jackson found a home with the help of Little Black Dog Rescue.

Norman Has Found His Home

Jackson
Norman. Little Black Dog Rescue

Norman has been adopted. He is spunky when he walks but a medium/low energy dog. He suffers from epilepsy which is controlled by medication taken once daily. He isn’t affected by this at all and couldn’t be a friendlier, spunkier little guy. Norman was in a bad situation here in CT and luckily we had the opportunity to remove him. He is around 4 or 5 years old, 11 pounds and is ready for adoption from Little Black Dog Rescue.
