Sweet Mack Was Adopted

Mack
Mack. Westport Animal Control

Mack is a big, handsome and very affectionate young (approximately a year old) resident of Westport Animal Control (203-341-5076).  We believe him to be a combination of American Staffordshire terrier and yellow lab with fur that is so soft and shiny.  He loves attention, and he’s getting a lot of it from the staff and volunteers.  He’s learning his manners and learning quickly.  He’s just a sweet and energetic pup that loves to play.  Please call soon to meet marvelous Mack.

Shadow Found a New Home

Shadow
Shadow. Westport Animal Control

Shadow is a 7-year-old miniature poodle mix at Westport Animal Control (203-341-5076, Elaine Road, Westport, CT) that has been through a lot in regard to finding his forever home and is looking for the right person or persons to provide that for him.  He is affectionate, adorable, smart, playful, very housebroken and good with other dogs.  He does, however, need someone that understands that he can be bossy and needs a confident and patient owner.  He would do best in an adult home.  Please call to make an appointment to meet this fine little fellow.

Prince and Junior Found a Home

Prince and Junior
Prince and Junior. Westport Animal Control

Prince and Junior now have a great home in Fairfield.  If these two little loves won’t melt your heart than nothing will.  Prince is a 5-year-old brown and tan long-haired Chihuahua and Junior is a one-year-old black and tan long-haired Chihuahua.  They are new residents of Westport Animal Control (203-341-5076, Elaine Road, Westport, CT).  They were abandoned together in a crate.  Why?  We’re not sure because they are so lovable and sweet. They are a little thin but they have good appetites and are eating their special food supplied by WASA.  Prince and Junior have to be placed together – and remain together!  Please call to make an appointment to meet this adorable duo.

Slade Has A New Home

Slade
Slade. Animals In Distress

Slade is a very sweet and handsome 2-year-old grey feline left behind at a rental property in Westport. He was an indoor cat forced outside and was being fed by an on-site building contractor. Despite what must have been a stressful situation for him, there were no scratches, hisses or bites during his vet exam – just purrs. Slade is very personable and affectionate. He is healthy, up-to-date on his vaccinations and neutered. For additional information about Slade, please contact Animals in Distress at 203-762-2006 or send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Luca Found a New Home

Luca
Luca. Westport Animal Control

Luca is a really swell 4-month-old blue doberman-pit mix. He was rescued from a Connecticut animal control facility and is being fostered in the home of a WASA volunteer. He is sweet, affectionate, great with other dogs and does very well off-leash at the dog park. Luca has long brown legs and big paws and will probably be a beautiful tall boy when fully grown. We wouldn’t be surprised if there isn’t a little Great Dane in him as well. These pictures don’t do him justice. He is very handsome and is a gorgeous blue-gray color with adorable gray-brown eyes. While very playful, he does enjoy his cuddle time. For additional information about Luca, please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call (203)557-0361.

Boston Has a Home

Boston
Boston. Westport Animal Control

Boston, now known as Bosco, has a new home.  Bosco is a 6-year-old Golden Retriever that is sure to win the hearts of both Yankee and Red Sox fans.  He was a new resident of Westport Animal Control (Elaine Road, Westport, 203-341-5076).  He knows all kinds of tricks and is very friendly and affectionate – a real leaner.  Bosco is housebroken, neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations.  Bosco has not been socialized with other dogs or cats so we’re not sure about how he would be with other pets in the home.  He also has a tendency to grab cookies and PB&J’s from little hands at eye level so older children would be best for him.
