Cairo Has Been Adopted

Cairo
Cairo. Connecticut Humane Society
Cairo would prefer a home with older children and adults.  – He would prefer to be your only pet so he can have all your love and attention.  Cairo was brought to us because his family was moving.  He is about 8-9 years old but you’d never know!  He has long hair but needed a grooming when he got here so we gave him a nice new lion cut and he’s ready to go to his new forever home. Cairo doesn’t seem to like other cats, so he should be your one and only! Cairo will need regular grooming so he doesn’t have problems with matted fur again. He is a bit shy at first, but appreciates affection and attention once he gets to know you. Come down to the Westport branch of the CT Humane Society to meet this handsome boy.

Roan Has a Forever Family

Roan
Roan. Westport Animal Shelter Advocates
Roan is a 2-year-old Dalmatian-American Bulldog mix that is enjoying the easy life now that her six pups have been adopted by caring and responsible families.  Westport Animal Shelter Advocates (WASA) volunteers fell in love with her and her pups at Bridgeport Animal Control and couldn’t imagine taking only the pups to foster.  Roan is playful, smart and very loving.  Her nickname is “the Blanket” because she watches for you to lie on the couch so she can stretch out on top of you.  No need for a blanket or a roaring fire in the fireplace when Roan is around.  Roan gets along very well with other dogs from Chihuahuas to big bulldog mixes.  Roan is housebroken and gives you a nice bark by the door when she needs to go out.  Please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for additional information and an adoption application.

Ozzy Found a New Home

Ozzy
Ozzy. Save Our Strays Inc.
Ozzy is a super sweet and adorable 5 year old Lhasa-Shih Tzu type dog. After living in a home for years, he suddenly was surrendered to a Connecticut shelter and was forgotten about like an old, used toy. Ozzy was in that shelter for a while and then moved to ours so at first he was a little scared but he warmed up within just a week of being here. We are now happy to see his lovely personality! Ozzy was VERY badly matted when he came in and now that he has had a fresh haircut he is ready to start his new life. Ozzy will require regular trips to the groomer since his hair will be growing back in. He is neutered, up-to-date on all his shots and is ready to go! Rocky Has a Forever Family

Rocky
Rocky. Save Our Strays Inc.
Rocky is a 1 year old Shih Tzu – Maltese mix with the most adorable underbite! He appears to be house trained and LOVES everyone! His spunky personality matches his happy walk and “cute” underbite . At 18 pounds he is a little overweight and could stand to loose a few pounds. Rocky is up to date with all of his shots and has been neutered. Please come meet this great little guy!  Rocky is at Save Our Strays, Inc. call (203) 255-0514 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
