Owner Sarah Green said that she and her husband, Mark Motyl, were parents of two boys and a girl on the way when they moved into the house in 2004 because “we liked the property a lot, but our intention was to demolish the house and replace it later on.”

She added, “One of the things we like about this property is that it backs up onto Wakeman Field. We hear the joy of kids playing ball there. What a nice sound to us.”

Green said her husband, an international bond salesman, is taking a year off from his job to assume a new role as general contractor for the construction of their new house. She said it will be a center hall colonial “with a contemporary flair” which she said will be around 5,000-square feet.
