This has been Westport’s best first quarter for unit volume that we have seen for a number of years, with 60 sales reported for the first three months.

Sales during this same time period over the last three years were somewhat stagnant, and realizing over a 10 percent increase in sales in these first three months of 2012 is a very positive sign for the rest of the year.

The average sales price in this quarter was $1,380,570 and is up very slightly rom the year end averages of 2011.

What has remained a fairly constant average is the sales price to list price ratio, which is still around 93 percent, and that is just what it was last year. That percentage tends to move higher as the market improves.
