Westport’s Staples High School WWPT 90.3 FM is broadcasting today’s varsity football game against Wilton High School in a simulcast with the school’s new Staples Television Network (STN) on Cablevision channel 78.
In addition, there is live video streaming of the telecast at www.stn78.com and www.wwptfm.com.
Congratulations to everyone at WWPT. The kickoff simulcast was great. On behalf of a die hard Wreckers fan who contemplates driving 1500 miles to see “The Big Blue Wrecking Crew”—thank you.
The simulcast was on or ABOVE par compared to many college and cable efforts. Great color by the announcers and just a great job overall.
And it is good to hear from long time wrecker Tony Slez out in cheeze land.
Thanks Chip and Tony. There are some really great kids that are working really hard on the presentations. I also thought it was really cool (and a great sign of our technological times) that Tony could listen to our broadcast from Ludlowe last week in Wisconsin, and then be the supplier of updates for a local CT paper’s twitter account. Vaery cool!
