Wreckers in the Pink to Support Breast Cancer Patients

Westport’s Staples Wreckers football team show off the pink gloves they will wear on Oct. 23 when they play Harding at home to show their support for breast cancer patients. Coaches will be doing their part as well by wearing pink polos and the team hopes to achieve a “pink out” where all attendees wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness. In addition, they will be raising funds for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation by selling pink t-shirts and pink gloves during lunch times. T-shirts can also be ordered at Athletic Shoe Factory. A limited supply of pink t-shirts and knit gloves will be available for purchase on game day.
