A large banner has gone up on a fence bordering Luciano Park in Westport’s Saugatuck area near the Metro-North Westport station wishing success to the Westport Little League team. The opening game of the Little League World Series is Thursday at 7 p.m. when Westport will face South Nashville, Tenn. in the opening round. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN2. Just to end any mystery around this banner and the others that have been placed around town…like these…Al’s Angels – is a local organization that provides holiday meals and gifts to children battling cancer, rare blood diseases & severe financial hardship ( http://www.alsangels.org) We have created these signs in the hope that we stir our community to even greater support of our Amazing Little League Team. All of us at Al’s Angels are proud of our team and wish them luck as they battle for the Little League World Series
This is what it is all about. I love helping out charities and making banners and signs out of good will. Keep up the good work it will come back and bless you.
