WestportNow Teardown of the Day: 7 Stony Point Road

An application for a permit to demolish the waterfront house at Westport’s 7 Stony Point Road, in the Saugatuck area, is in process. Built in 1960, the 1-1/2 story cape has 3,847 square feet, is situated on a 1.2-acre property and changed ownership in July for $2,8 million.  Because the house was built more than 50 years ago, the application will be reviewed by the Westport Historic District Commission.
