WestportNow Teardown of the Day: 79 Richmondville Ave.

An application is in process for a permit to demolish the house at Westport’s 79 Richmondville Avenue, off Main Street. Built in 1956, the one-story ranch is 1,380 square feet on a .65-acre property. The house changed ownership this month for $725,000. Because the house was built more than 50 years ago, the application will be reviewed by the Westport Historic District Commission.
