WestportNow Teardown of the Day: 70 Clapboard Hill Road

An application is in process for a permit to demolish the house at 70 Clapboard Hill Road. Built in 1947, the one-story ranch is 2,833 square feet and is located on a secluded 5.2-acre lot that includes a pool, tennis court, and duck ponds. Because the house was built more than 50 years ago, the application will be reviewed by the Historic District Commission. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com
