An application is in process to acquire a permit to demolish the house at 6 Laurel Lane off Imperial Avenue.  Built in 1936, the 1-1/2-story cape has 1,664 square feet and is situated on a .24-acre property.  Because it was built more than 50 years ago, the application will be reviewed by the Westport Historic District Commission.
