An application is in process to acquire a permit to demolish the house at 6 Cobble Hill Road in Westport’s Old Hill section near Sylvan Road North.-Built in 1958, the one story ranch has 1,638 square feet and is situated on a one-acre property adjacent to the short street’s dead end. Because the house was built more than 50 years ago, the application will be reviewed by the Historic District Commission at its meeting on April 13, as will seven other 50-year-old-plus Westport houses.
