An application for a permit to demolish the house at Westport’s 6 Bumble Bee Lane, off Red Coat Road, is in process. Built in 1960, the two-story split has 2,530 square feet and is situated on a 1.03-acre property at the end of the street.  Because the house was built more than 50 years ago, the application will be reviewed by the Westport Historic District Commission.
