WestportNow Teardown of the Day: 5 Woodside Lane

An application for a permit to demolish two houses at Westport’s 5 Woodside Lane, opposite the entrance to Earthplace, is in process. Both built in 1952, the house in the foreground is a one-story ranch and has 2,185 square feet. The house in the background is a one-story cottage and has 872 square feet. The combined structures are situated on a 1.01-acre property. Because the houses were built more than 50 years ago, the application will be reviewed by the Westport Historic District Commission.
