WestportNow Teardown of the Day: 5 Lyndale Park

An application for a permit to demolish the house at Westport’s 5 Lyndale Park, off Weston Road, is in process. Built in 1958, the one-story ranch has 1,704 square feet and is situated on a one-acre property. The resident said that she has lived in the house for 40 years, now plans to possibly sell it to a builder, that it’s time to find a smaller place with less upkeep and wishes to remain in Westport.  Because the house was built more than 50 years ago, the application will be reviewed by the Westport Historic District Commission.
