An application for a permit to demolish the house at Westport’s 32 Bermuda Road, in the Saugatuck Shores area, is in process. Built in 1963, the one-story custom split has 2,256 square feet, is situated on a .5-acre property and changed ownership last August for $2 million. Because the house was built more than 50 years ago, the application will be reviewed by the Westport Historic District Commission. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com

Sturm Ruger & Company Inc. designs, manufactures, sells, and exports firearms. The Company
produces rifles, shotguns, pistols, and revolvers. Let’s all welcome the CEO to the neighborhood!
Misplaced post Jon, or are you making an attempt to say that Mike has purchased this particular property?
http://www.westportct.gov/modules/showdocument.aspx?documentid=3630 purchased yes
And so what is your point?
like i said ‘welcome to the neighborhood’. what is your point?

Slimy weasels do what you did Jon. [deleted] That is my point, and I apologize for not stating that in my first post. I truly thought that you might have misplaced the post.
If you wanted to welcome Mike and his family to our street, you would have done it back in August. You would also have not given a description of what SR does and act as if the company is moving in. As you already know, they are located in Southport. Fairfield named their K9 Officer Ruger after the company.
So, as you feel your tactic is worthy of something, I commend you on your self-assured do-good deed for the day. However, take some advice. If you are really going to stand-up for what you believe, have some integrity […deleted] Say what you really want to say next time.
i forgot i was posting on rick spoon live, next you’ll say Rizzuto’s food is good on westport eats!
