WestportNow Teardown of the Day: 298 Saugatuck Ave.

An application for a permit to demolish the house at Westport’s 298 Saugatuck Ave., near the intersection of Duck Pond Road, is in process. Built in 1966, the 1-3/4-story cape has 3,113-square feet and is situated on a 1.18-acre property. The house was heavily damaged by fire in September 2017. (See WestportNow, Sept. 16, 2017.)
