WestportNow Teardown of the Day: 1 Conte Place

An application for a permit to demolish the house at Westport’s 1 Conte Place off Harbor Road in the Saugatuck Shores section is in process. Built in 1928, the one-story ranch has 1,539-square feet, is situated on a .14-acre property and, according to town assessor records, last changed ownership in November 1999 for $485,000.
