WestportNow Teardown of the Day: 17 Burnham Hill

UPDATE and CORRECT An application for a permit to demolish the house at Westport’s 17 Burnham Hill, off Hillspoint Road, is in process. Built in 1966, the one-story ranch has 1,493 square feet and is situated on a .52-acre property. 1966 + 50 = 2016
or 2010 – 50 = 1960
How did this quality for historic review? Did I miss something in the math? It seems six years shy of the requirement.

They might be going to an 2011 tear down – next summer’s opening season teardown – sort of like the fireworks at Compo – not!

Id like a tear down to replace my house. I think this house would fit on my current foundation. does any one know if it can be saved and relocated to my property?
