WestportNow Teardown of the Day: 15 Turkey Hill Rd. S.

An application for a permit to demolish a cottage at Westport’s 15 Turkey Hill Road South is in process. Built in circa 1900, the one-story cottage is situated on a two-acre property that had been previously approved for subdivision. The main house, built in 1940, on the property was demolished in March (see WestportNow, March 13.2012). Ownership of the property changed hands in November 2011 for $2,050,000. Replacement construction of the former main house is underway (rear). (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com
