WestportNow Teardown of the Day: 1300 Post Road East

An application for a permit to demolish the two-building business complex at Westport’s 1300 Post Road East is in process. Building No. 1, built in 1950, is a 1-1/2-story health center and has 6,437 square feet.  Building No. 2, built in 1985 is a two-story medical complex with 4,517 square feet. The structures are set on a 1.09-acre property. Because Building No. 1 was built more than 50 years ago, the application will be reviewed by the Westport Historic District Commission.
