What a charming little house.
When my family and high school friends come back to Westport their family homes are gone!
It is sad.
Although attractive, this house looks absolutely huge for a 1/3 acre property on a lovely liitle street. A few more like this and the charming character of Evergreen will change dramatically.
I agree with the 2 comments above.
I live in an attractive updated 50’s house which we renovated over the years as we raised our family. It is sad to think that it will be a teardown if and when we sell.
I can only hope that in the future, the new design and update on my property will be made with concern for the environment, an aesthetic eye, and heart…. and that is is an improvement on the site.
Do we really have to add another pile of rubble to the landfill in order to profit from the site? How much energy and resources must be consumed to construct and maintain these larger structures? I think it is time to be more responsible and change the the manner in which we build if we really care about our Westport and our planet.
