We must fight. The new way for developers to make money is through condoization. Densifying and thus changing the character and quality of our town.
They are buying their way to the sewerline by creating a daisy chain of houses. Once you are within 160 feet of a public sewer line you are allowed to hook up to it. This would bypass the P&Z’s denial of the sewer extension.
We could well see the Teardown of the Year as 10 houses are razed for 50+ condos.
As to the YMCA distracting. Nothing should distract us. All intrusions need to be addressed if we are to protect our town.
