  1. Exxon regular to-day in Westport was $2.99 a gallon. Plus a 40 cent increase as of 12 Midnight is gettoing close to prohibitive for many. Does this apply to the supply already on hand?

  2. (I’m assuming you’re being sarcastic, Wally)  It’s not as simple as vilifying a particular type of vehicle. Compare the gas consumption of an SUV driven 8 miles/day with a Honda Accord driven 60 miles/day. The SUV’s using 1/2gal/day, the Accord 2 gals/day. Which is contributing more to global warming and dependance on the middle east?

  3. If we could get everyone into the Accord and only drive 8 miles per day, they would only be using about 1/4 gallon per day!  Less need for warming to the Middle East…

  4. Gas prices are not that high. Higher then what we are used to yes, but after a while we will get used to these prices. It could be a lot worse. People have a choice to drive any vechile they want, Mr. Woods. Do not knock them for doing so.
