An application for a permit to demolish the house and garage at Westport’s 3 Farmer Road, off Compo Road South, is in process. The main house, built in 1930, a two-story colonial has 2,909-square feet, is situated on a .33-acre property. The garage, built in 1935, a two-story conventional, has 567 square feet. The two structures sit on a .98-acre property.  Because the structures were built more than 50 years ago, the application will be reviewed by the Westport Historic District Commission.
