Update: Ignazio the Pizza Opens by Early November

Ignazio the Pizza, an Italian cuisine eatery, will open at 833 Post Road East, near the Sherwood Island Connector, by early November, according to owner Louis Termini, a resident of Brooklyn and Westport.  According to Termini, who describes himself as “a painter, photographer, sculptor and pizza maker,” the restaurant will seat 60 indoors and offer seating for 12 on the outdoor patio.  As the owner of another Brooklyn-based pizza restaurant under the same name, he said he is not new to the Connecticut area, having owned six pizza restaurants under the Luna Pizza name in Hartford County from 1989 to 2007 before opening in Brooklyn in 2008.  The Westport restaurant offers wine and beer along with a menu of classic Italian specialties.
