Touring Westport’s Gatsby Land

Documentary filmmakers Richard “Deej” Webb Jr. and Robert Steven Williams today led a group of 20 persons on a Westport Historical Society walking tour, “In Gatsby’s Shoes,” at the Compo Road South one-time residence of F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda. Webb is author of “Boats Against the Current: The Honeymoon Summer of Scott and Zelda: Westport, Connecticut 1920.” The book is a companion to “Gatsby in Connecticut: The Untold Story,” a documentary he and Williams (both Westporters) have been working on for more than six years, which will air on public television in the fall.
