New renderings have been published online of Westport’s Bedford Square development, including this view of the project from Church Lane. There are also aerial videos of the demolition of the former Westport Weston Family YMCA here and here. One page of the Bedford Square website outlines changes made to the plans in response to feedback. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Contributed photo

UGLY!!!
Janet Beasley
It truly is just awful.
Let’s give him a chance…. It’s not as though the Weeks Pavilion was attractive. I was very sad to see the Y go, and the cherry trees. But this may look nice once it’s done.
It’s not open space, but, heck, at least the developer helped to preserve a little bit of Westport by agreeing to move and restore the Kemper-Gunn House. I think that was a good sign!
