Tesla Promotes Bill Allowing Direct Sales in CT

State Rep. Jonathan Steinberg tonight addresses a meeting at Dragone Classic Motorcars on Post Road West hosted by Tesla and partners about economic opportunities for Westport and surrounding areas if electric vehicles manufacturers like Tesla were able to invest in the state. The Connecticut General Assembly is currently considering a bill, which would authorize the direct sale of electric vehicles without existing dealership franchise agreements.
