Taking Shape on Elm Street

The underground work has been completed on a new retail and residential building on Westport’s Elm Street behind Lux Bond & Green. The property was part of a land swap involving the town and developer David Waldman. Waldman purchased 36 Elm St. across the street for $4.9 million—now turned into a town-owned parking lot—and agreed to swap it for a portion of a town-owned Elm Street parking lot.
