Staples Soccer Stops New Canaan

Anton Mahr’s two assists –- one on a pass to Josh Berman, the other on a corner kick to Teddy Lawrence’s head –- led the Staples boys soccer team today to a 2-1 victory over New Canaan. The largest crowd of the season on the Loeffler Field hill watched the Wreckers up their record to 7-2-5, moving them one step closer to a home game for the FCIAC tournament.
