Staples Soccer Earns Another Shutout

The Staples High School boys soccer team today celebrated Senior Day in fine fashion. Austin Sholes’ goal, off a quick pass from Nick DiMasi, was all the Wreckers needed to shut out New Canaan 1-0 at Loeffler Field. Staples, now 9-2-4, finishes the regular season at St. Joseph on Tuesday (4 p.m.). The FCIAC playoffs begin on Friday.
