Staples Lax Players in ‘Sticks for Soldiers’ Event

Members of the Staples High School Girls and Boys Lacrosse teams took part today in the sixth annual Sticks For Soldiers Charity Event and Tournament at Fairfield Ludlowe High School. The event raises money for local wounded troops and hopes to create a mature awareness among high school athletes to the unseen sacrifices being make on their behalf by young men and women just a few years older than themselves. Through their play and fund-raising participation they can demonstrate tangible thanks and support. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Contributed photo
