Staples Girls Soccer Loses to Wilton 6-1

Westport’s Staples girls soccer team, which has often been victorious in wet field conditions, lost to Wilton 6-1 today. Staples parents watched the game from the new in-ground granite bleachers on the steep slope of Loeffler Field. Launched six months ago, the seating project was funded entirely by private donations.
