Staples Boys Soccer Kicks Off State Tournament Tuesday

The Staples boys soccer team begins the quest for its 13th state championship Tuesday with a 2 p.m. match against Darien. The game has been moved to the artificial turf of Wakeman Field, next to Bedford Middle School, due to wet grass at Staples. The Wreckers and Blue Wave tied 0-0 earlier this season. Staples is seeded 10th in the LL (extra large schools) division. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Rolando Perez for WestportNow.com
