The $74 million Staples High School renovation and expansion project is on schedule and on budget, the Representative Town Meeting (RTM) was told Tuesday night.
Dan Kail, chair of the Staples Subcommittee of the School Building Committee, briefed RTM members at the end of the legislative bodys annual organization meeting.
He said he would have a better idea of budgeted costs following the opening of another round of construction bids.
The first phase of the project is expected to be completed in 2005.
