Special Reader at Saugatuck El

Saugatuck Elementary School today hosted actor James Naughton to its Library/ Media Center as a guest reader. He recited the final chapter of E.B. White’s “The Trumpet of the Swan,” and closed out the school’s “One Book, Two Schools” program, an annual PTA-sponsored event, which puts a copy of the book in the hands of every school family, teacher and staff member. Naughton’s grandson attends the school. The school will now donate the books to the Victoria Soto School in Stratford. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Contributed photo
