Meet Bat. Westport Animal Control
Bat has been adopted. He is a 6 to 8-year-old chihuahua mix rescued from a CT animal control facility that is now being fostered by a WASA volunteer. Life had not been good to this little guy when he was kicked to the curb. He was very thin, flea-infested and dehydrated, but very forgiving and his spirit not broken. He is enjoying the good life now with good food, exercise, play time with other dogs. He has turned into one handsome little pup. He loves walks and chasing the tennis ball (very funny), he is constantly presenting his foster with photo opportunities because of his comical nature. Bat would do best in an adult home or a home with older children that will give him space until he is comfortable. He is good with other dogs if they are not in his face constantly. Bat is neutered, up to date on his vet care and just had his teeth cleaned.
