Reuniting and Seeing the Yankees on Opening Day

Among those off today to see the New York Yankees opening day game against the Toronto Blue Jays were former Westporters Chris Fisher (l) and Matt Huntley. Fisher, a Boston resident and 2001 Staples graduate, and Huntley, a Seattle resident and 2001 Fairfield Prep grad, will join Jimmy Gabal of New York to celebrate a bachelor party at Yankee Stadium. “All three of us grew up together in Westport since we were five or six years old,” said Huntley. “We were in the same class in Bedford Middle School.” Gabal, who lives in New York with his fiancé is getting married on Memorial Day weekend.
