P&Z Approves 500 Main St. Application

After lengthy consideration, the Westport Planning and Zoning Commission tonight by a vote of 5 to 2 approved a controversial housing development on the former Daybreak Nursery site at 500 Main St. A revised plan by developer Peter Greenberg of Able Construction called for construction of nine housing units: two two-family dwellings and four one-family dwelling units on the 2.18-acre site.
