“Fannies in the Seats” Is Bluefish GM’s Most Daunting Task

Selling tickets and “putting fannies in the seats“ is the most daunting challenge Bridgeport Bluefish General Manager Bob Goughan says he faces with the Atlantic League professional baseball club. In his job just over a year, Goughan, who has held similar positions at minor league clubs in Rochester, and Colorado Springs, told the Westport Rotary Club today as a sign of its growing strength, the Bluefish won more games last year than in any year in club history. He said Bluefish baseball is virtually of the Major League level, fans are close to the field, and a family of four can still pay only $100 for three hours of entertainment.
