Preservation Award Winner: 78 Riverside Ave.

A house at 76 Riverside Ave. is among nine winners of the Westport Historic District Commission (HDC) 2015 Preservation Awards to be presented in a Town Hall ceremony at 7 p.m. on Monday. The HDC said the award will be presented to Beverly and Richard Bailey, owners of the Queen Anne-style house, known as the Norman Kellogg House, circa 1883. The HDC cited the owners for their efforts not only to perform a renovation that maintained its historic integrity but also to create a functional home with the conveniences required by today’s lifestyle.
