Preservation Award Winner: 41 Turkey Hill Road South

A house at 41 Turkey Hill Road South is among nine winners of the Westport Historic District Commission (HDC) 2016 Preservation Awards to be presented in a Town Hall ceremony on Monday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. The HDC said the award will be presented to Stephen and Kim Penwell, owners of the house known as the Sumner-Rapallo House, circa 1860, 1920. The HDC cited the owners”for their excellence in ongoing care and maintenance” having modified it in the Colonial Revival style since assuming ownership in 1998.
