Preparing for Guy Sherman Photograph Exhibit Opening

An exhibit of photographer Guy Sherman’s works opens tonight in the Great Hall of the Westport Public Library with a 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. reception. Raised in Hawaii and a longtime Westport resident, Sherman has photographed everything from mixed drinks for Seagram’s and fashion for Glamour magazine to a 600-pound lion for MGM. Lately, he has turned to shots in nature loaded with color and texture and also to the simplicity and graphics of architecture, cars, and other pieces of man-made design.
